Hey there, everyone! I'm Sarah Smeekens, the owner of Thedford Native Plants, a local native plant nursery here in Lambton Shores.

I'm incredibly lucky to have grown up here in Lambton Shores. In this unique ecosystem,  that encompasses the sandy dunes of Lake Huron and the Carolinian Forest.

I've spent most of my life pursuing my love of plants, forests, and the natural world. I've worked hard to turn that passion into a career and I am so excited to share my love for Native Plants with the community.

I started Thedford Native Plants seven years ago so I could pursue my dreams full time. Thanks to all our amazing customers, supporters, and Native Plant lovers, we have continued to grow throughout the years. Spreading the importance

of Native Species, and the the pollinators that depend on them.

I am so grateful for how far we have come and cannot wait to see what the next five years bring!
