Wild Bergamont
Monarda fistulosa
Wild Bergamot is one of the easiest wildflowers to grow, with beautiful light lavender purple blooms lasting from mid to late summer. The leaves and flowers have a sweet fragrance and are edible. Its flowers are great for bouquets and attract a variety of butterflies. Wild Bergamot tolerates most soil and moisture conditions in part shade to full sun.
